Surely if you are a good picofino your palate will have throbbed when you imagine the touch that black truffle can give to a Picofino Original Gin gin cream. The good news is that you can keep your expectations very high. It is something completely new, sophisticated and amazing.
An explosion of aromas in a cream refined with Picofino Original Gin gin, hints of cinnamon and with a unique ingredient in the world: the black truffle.
It's so special that, being a gin cream with a touch of distilled black truffle and Ceylon cinnamon, it inaugurates a new category within the cream liqueurs we know. On the nose, the truffle evokes memories of mushrooms, earth, and dampness, a soft and aromatic alcoholic background from the gin, and a light milky aroma. As you taste it, the truffle flavor fades, giving way to cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon, and finally, the complex citrus notes from the gin emerge. It's a very smooth and creamy, brownish cream.
On the rocks. Keep the cream cold and serve in an old fashioned or low glass with a large ice stone and a small citrus twist (better grapefruit or orange).
Without ice. Keep the cream very cold and serve in a pompadour glass or wine glass, with a small twist of citrus (preferably grapefruit or orange) and, if you're feeling adventurous, with a grating of black truffle.
