From there, El DIP Picofino was born: a different —and much more honest— way of understanding this ritual.
What is the Picofino DIP?
Picofino DIP is a smooth and balanced cream, made from our Picofino mussels with vermouth sauce and loins of bonito from the North in olive oil, designed to be enjoyed without complications and without guilt.
It has texture, it has intensity, and it has something fundamental: real product. It's not a disguised pâté or an industrial sauce. It's a dip with a deep, natural, and recognizable flavor, where every ingredient shines through.
Furthermore, it is a healthy product:
No preservatives, no colorings, no gluten and no artificial ingredients.
Why was the DIP Picofino created?
There are many dips on the market: cheese, guacamole, tomato, and a thousand other flavors. But most share a clear problem: they are ultra-processed, loaded with additives, and contain a minimal percentage of the ingredient they claim to represent.
At Picofino, we wanted to turn that concept on its head. We started with a product that was already a success—our Picofino Mussels with vermouth escabeche—and asked ourselves a simple question:
What if we take it to the realm of dips, without losing identity or quality?
The answer was to add fillets of bonito tuna in olive oil, not as a filling, but for structure and richness. Thus was born a different kind of dip, honest and designed for the true aperitif: to share, dip, and enjoy again.
How to do it
The process is artisanal, natural, and without shortcuts.
The mussels are carefully blended with their Picofino vermouth sauce along with loins of bonito from the North in olive oil, until a balanced cream is obtained, with a texture and deep flavor.
The following are not added:
• Preservatives
• Additives
• Artificial aromas
Nothing else.
The product is packaged in glass jars and autoclaved, giving it a shelf life of up to 4 years, while maintaining its properties intact.

Picofino DIP comes in a glass jar, with a convenient format, without inner rims, designed to directly insert whatever you want to dip.
